If you are interested in running a virtual competition for fun or as a fundraising event, then you have come to the right place!
Maximise your fundraising - Minimise volunteer effort.
Charge a set price to enter or allow for voluntary contributions. It's your choice!
A Virtual Competition is a show or competition that is run in a completely virtual space i.e online. Participants can view the entries submitted as well as enter their own. This is all done from home and is an exciting and inclusive way to connect with your community.
As a school or charity, you decide on the type of Virtual Competition you want to run, provide prizes and select the winner(s). You can run it by year group, key stage or for an entire school!
Participants can submit their entry to an online Google photo album created by your PTA or use one of the apps we discuss in our tutorial. You can take payment online if you are charging for admission, alternatively, they can add a voluntary contribution.
If using one of the apps, participants can upload their photo there and then. Alternatively, they can do it later using the link emailed to them with instructions on how to upload a photo of their competition entry, along a short description of the entry.
