What is a virtual duck race?
What is a virtual duck race?
A virtual Duck race is one that is run in a completely virtual space i.e online. The race can be viewed online at any stage. Participants can view the race leaderboard, search for their Duck or view the 'live' race in action. This is all done in an environmentally friendly way, as all the Ducks are virtual.
Set your own race start and end dates. Race duration needs to be a minimum of 24 hours but Mon-Fri and Fri-Mon are popular options for schools.
Participants can customise and enter their Ducks using the online ticketing website we provide for your charity or school. This is also how they pay for the Ducks, adding optional donations if you are fundraising. We have lots of Ducks to choose from, participants can give the Duck a fun nickname and add a short message too! During the race, these details are visible on the leaderboard or when you hover over your Duck in flight!
All participants are given the Duck race link to visit when the race goes live. They will also be sent a reminder with the link 2 hours before the Duck race launches.

What's included:
All the customised Ducks are uploaded to the Duck race software
Your Duck race is activated and you are sent the race link.
The Duck race will launch at midday on the date specified by you, all race participants will receive a broadcast reminder with the link.
A report is sent to you, detailing the number of Ducks entered and how much you raised both in sales and/or donations. Use this to contact the winner.

7 days after the start of your race, all fundraising proceeds due will be securely paid into your verified account by bank transfer. This period is a mandatory banking regulation to allow for any fraud checks and credit card chargebacks.
